How to get to Davos from Portugal and South America
Updated October 2026. Prices are approximate: always confirm before booking.
Getting to Davos is simpler than it looks: you fly to Zurich and do the rest by land. Zurich airport is the most practical for the camp.
1. Fly to Zurich
From Lisbon and Porto: there are winter flights to Zurich, direct or with a stop. Check the schedule for your date.
From Brazil, Chile and Argentina: usually with a stop in a European city (Madrid, Lisbon, Frankfurt, Paris or another). There may be direct links from São Paulo depending on the season.
Citizens of Brazil, Chile and Argentina can usually enter Switzerland without a visa for short stays. Always check the current rules with the consulate before you travel.
2. From Zurich to Davos
Two options.
Train: Zurich airport has its own station with a direct link to the Swiss rail network. The trip to Davos takes about two and a half hours with one change. A return ticket is around 130€ per person.
Van transfer: Zurich ↔ hotel ↔ Zurich, included in the Explorer and Groups packs. On Basic and Rider it costs 100€ per person, minimum 5 and maximum 8 people per van.
Practical tips
Choose flights that land in Zurich during the day so you can take the train or van without rushing.
If you travel with a board or skis, check the airline's sports baggage policy, or rent in Davos: equipment rental.
Get travel insurance with cancellation and mountain accident cover.
Hotels are in Davos Platz and Davos Dorf: see hotels.
